Cookie & storage policy

Short version

Furever Wall is a static dApp. We don't use tracking cookies, advertising pixels, or third-party analytics. We do use a small amount of localStorage in your browser to keep the app functional — that's it. Everything we store is listed below.

What we actually store

All values below are stored in your browser's localStorage on classicdoge.io. Nothing is sent to our servers.

    Records that you've seen the cookie banner so we don't show it again.
  • furever:a11yStrictly necessary
    Accessibility preferences (font size, high contrast, reduced motion, reduced noise) you set in the toolbar.
  • furever:tour:seenStrictly necessary
    Remembers that you've completed the onboarding tour for your wallet, so it doesn't replay every visit.
  • wagmi.*Strictly necessary
    Maintains your wallet connection across page loads. Set by the wagmi library when you connect a wallet.
  • WALLETCONNECT_*Strictly necessary
    Set by WalletConnect when you connect a WalletConnect-compatible wallet (e.g., to remember the wallet you chose).

"Strictly necessary" means the item is required for the website to function and is exempt from consent requirements under GDPR Article 6(1)(f) and ePrivacy Directive Article 5(3).

Third-party connections

When you use the dApp, your browser communicates with a few third-party services. These services may set their own cookies under their domain (not ours), governed by their own privacy policies:

  • Your wallet extension (MetaMask, etc.) — for transaction signing.
  • BSC RPC providers (e.g. bsc-dataseed.binance.org) — for reading on-chain data.
  • IPFS gateways — for loading pet photos.
  • Our backend API at api.classicdoge.io — for off-chain data (wall list, care log, donations).
  • Cloudflare — fronts our domains and provides DDoS protection. May set its own anti-abuse cookies.

What we don't use

  • No Google Analytics, Plausible, Fathom, or any other web analytics
  • No advertising or remarketing pixels (no Facebook Pixel, Google Ads, etc.)
  • No session-replay tools (no FullStory, Hotjar, LogRocket, etc.)
  • No fingerprinting or cross-site tracking
  • No first- or third-party cookies for marketing

How to clear it

You can clear our localStorage at any time via your browser:

  • Chrome / Edge: Settings → Privacy → Site settings → View permissions and data → classicdoge.io → Clear data
  • Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data → Manage Data → classicdoge.io → Remove
  • Safari: Preferences → Privacy → Manage Website Data → classicdoge.io → Remove

Clearing localStorage will disconnect your wallet (you'll need to re-connect) and reset your UI preferences. It will not affect any on-chain data — your house claim and Pet NFT remain unchanged.

Changes to this policy

If we change anything material — for example, if we add an analytics tool — we'll update the date at the top of this page and re-prompt you with the cookie banner. Trivial wording fixes won't trigger a re-prompt.
